Lifestyle Centre is feeling festive and has been gearing up for the December and January summer holidays. The Centre’s minimum trading hours will be extended to 8am – 7pm for the period 9 December 2021 – 8 January 2022, including all public holidays, with only a few tenants opting not to trade on 25 December and 1 January.

Anchor tenant, Lifestyle SUPERSPAR, will be opening 7am – 8pm daily for the period 3 December 2021 – 9 January 2022, including all public holidays, for the convenience of their customers during this busy time of the year. The only exception is Christmas Day, when they will close at 6pm.

The Market will also operate longer hours, being 8am – 7pm, from 9 December 2021 – 8 January 2022, with the eateries closing at 10pm. The Market will be closed on Christmas Day and all traders (including eateries will close at 7pm on 31 December 2021.)

Eat Street restaurants will be open 11am – 10pm daily, including public holidays. Some will be closed on Christmas Day, with their hours of operation being displayed on their respective websites. For more info see www.ballitolifestylecentre.co.za/eatstreet/.

Live music will be ramped up during the holiday period, with live musicians creating the vibe at The Market and Eat Street daily from 10 December 2021 to 9 January 2022. Visitors to the centre can expect to find an array of talented, local musicians playing alongside the likes of The Kickstands, Qadasi & Maqhinga, Rowan Stuart, Dave Starke, Sheldon de St Pern and other superb acts. The popular Winston Smile will also make a welcome return and be sure to keep it festive! Customers at The Studios, the special new addition to the centre, will also be able to relax to the sounds of live music on weekends. The weekly music lineup can be found at www.ballitolifestylecentre.co.za/events/.

While Covid protocols no longer allow Santa to pay his annual visit to the centre or the friendly elves to wrap presents, Lifestyle Centre will be gifting their customers with a complimentary Christmas photo (one per family) from the professional photobooth outside Lifestyle SUPERSPAR from 16 – 24 December. The booth will operate from 10am to 2pm daily and terms and conditions apply.

Visit Lifestyle Centre on Facebook (www.facebook.com/ballitolifestylecentre) or Instagram (www.instagram.com/lifestylecentreballito) to keep abreast of happenings during the holidays. Follow the adventures of Lifestyle’s own Elfie on social media between 1 and 24 December – he’ll be having a ball around the centre, living life the Ballito Way and giving away some great festive prizes.

According to Lifestyle Centre co-owner, Bruce Rencken, “We have been through a tumultuous couple of years, but have continued to work hard at creating beautiful settings for our customers in which they can connect in a safe and spacious environment and enjoy the moment, whether it be shopping in one of our fantastic stores, enjoying a meal in one of our restaurants or simply soaking up the Ballito atmosphere. It appears that we’re in for a bumper festive season, which will hopefully not be interrupted by unforeseen incidents or measures. Shopping at Lifestyle Centre is all about the experience and we want the convenience, vibe, quality of our offerings, service of the Lifestyle family and surprises around every corner to all contribute to a great shopping experience, every time. After all, we like to think of our centre as an extension of life, the Ballito way.”
