What Makes Simbithi Unique?
Their course is the first, and only, Executive Course in South Africa, which means you can play an entire 18-hole round within three hours. Also, each hole on the course is intriguingly named after the portion of farmland it once occupied, before the estate was developed. All residents and visitors are welcome to enjoy this amazing course!

Lush Zimbali Country Club
About the Course
This lush and luxurious 18-hole course was designed by Tom Weiskop, former Open Champion. It is a par 72 and provides something different and unique at every hole. An added plus to this fabulous course is that it has many tee boxes on all holes, enabling all handicap levels to have an enjoyable game. Also, because of its design and distance, it is a ‘championship course’, suitable for the pros!
Beers and Burgers
Zimbali’s quaint Halfway House will satisfy any golfer’s cravings, offering homemade pies, a delish chicken wrap and other snacks for along the way. However, the real beers and burgers will be found after the game, at the Crowned Eagle Restaurant. This African Classical themed restaurant offers tasty lunches or dinners, such as steak burgers, chicken pregos and a masala wrap, which will go down smoothly with any one of their range of beers on offer. A round of golf here would not be complete without a visit to their 19th hole. Zimbali members would argue that their bar has the best G&T to get rid of the ‘yips’!
Other Facilities
Zimbali Country Club also has a stocked Pro Shop with friendly staff, and George Harvey is on hand for exceptional golf lessons and tips. Cart hire is available and tennis courts are nearby if you want a change from those dreaded bunker-shots!
What Makes Zimbithi Unique?
What makes this course special is that you won’t go one round, or sometimes even one hole, without encountering one of their resident creatures. From vervet monkeys and geese to bush buck and even snakes, you’re sure to have an interesting game!
