Each summer evening from November to April, the skies above Mount Moreland transform into a scene of remarkable natural choreography. Thousands of barn swallows gather above the world-renownedLake Victoria Barn Swallows Site within the Mount Moreland Conservancy, circling and sweeping in a dazzling display of organised chaos before settling to roost for the night. The awe-inspiring spectacle attracts locals and visitors alike who come to witness this seasonal migration at its most captivating.
