The Ballito Magazine

The Ballito magazine came about when the team at FabMags (back then Estate Press) decided they needed a magazine that reached a broader audience than just their estate based magazine. CEO, Justin Scott, decided on The Ballito Magazine in November 2008 and by March 2009 the very first edition hit the street.

Distributed to 10,000 residents and readers in the greater Ballito area, the magazine remains the only community magazine 100% focused on the Ballito area. The magazine is also a high gloss, high quality coffee table style magazine that has an exceptional shelf life, remaining in homes for months and even years.

The magazine was the first onto the social media scene in the area, and boasts over 3,500 twitter followers along with a large, engage Facebook community. The Ballito was also the first in the area to adopt the global digital publishing platform, Issuu.

As part of a stable of 14+ magazines, The Ballito offers its advertising clients a tangible connection with the Ballito community, both in print and online.

Moving forward the magazine has a clear path of where it wants to get to, and that is a deeper, more connected relationship with the people and businesses of Ballito.
